ELMBRIDGE YOUNG PERSON OF HONOUR AWARDS 2024

Well done Max and Callum!!

This is easily one of our favourite nights of the year. It's such an honour to be involved and to nominate our Hub members for the amazing young people they are, and the wonderful things they do.

At The Hub we have the greatest joy of watching young people become young adults. And although the word 'journey' has become a cliche, I fully believe young people from 11 - 19 years old go on a journey mentally, emotionally and physically to finding out and understanding who they are.

Max won an award in the category 'Role Model' and our Hub Manager Katie spoke about Max. A short excerpt from the speech - "being a role model is leading by example in everyday life such as being reliable, being kind, helping others and working hard. Max is all these. Max leads quietly in an unassuming way but the impact is huge and makes a long lasting impression"

Callum won an award in the category of 'Personal Adversity' and Andy spoke about Callum. A short excerpt of the speech - "this year and particularly the last 6 months Callum has just blossomed and what a joy it is to watch his confidence and self esteem grow"

Callum also won the 'Teddy Read' shield and was presented with it by Teddy's Dad Rob.

Everyone at The Hub is so so proud of you and you both thoroughly deserve these awards.

You inspire everyone.
